Sessions run from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. However, if you’re arriving as a group of three, rather than an individual, or have chosen the ‘Make Your Day’ option, this can be flexible upon request. There will be a short break mid-morning and we stop for lunch at 1 p.m. for an hour.

Not at all — I’m here to help you develop your creative side and will talk you through every stage. Creativity comes in many different forms.
You don’t need to have an eye for design – problem-solving is creative too. Having fun, meeting like-minded people and learning a thing or two about yourself is what the day is all about!

I’ve got all the equipment you need to make the most of your session, so you don’t need to bring your own supplies. If you have something that you’d like to use as your design inspiration, such as a piece of fabric or a photograph, then please feel free to bring it along.

Yes. You’ll be able to take your A2 design board home with you. As well as being the inspiration for your room design, it could be a unique piece of design in itself and a keepsake of your day.

My home studio is a 10-minute walk from the city centre, but the cost of a taxi is included in the price of the course. I’ll ask you for your preference nearer the date or you can contact me at any time if you’d like to make your own arrangements.

As we will be using scissors and for the safety of participants, only children 12 or over can attend. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

My workspace can comfortably hold 3 participants. However, alternative solutions might be possible, so please contact me to discuss this in more detail. You can, of course, choose the ‘Make Your Day’ option for larger groups, where I can arrange an alternative venue to suit your needs.

If none of the dates listed are suitable, then please contact me to discuss alternative options. I’ll always do my best to accommodate you.

If your booking is more than four weeks away, please contact me for a refund, minus the small initial booking transaction costs.
Unfortunately, I cannot refund bookings less than 4 weeks away unless I can rebook the place or we can find an alternative date. Please contact meas soon as possible.

There is on-street parking available using a permit, which I will give to you on arrival.

There is a step up to the front door and a low threshold to the studio. A small ground floor toilet is also available. Please contact me to discuss any accessibility needs you may have.

There will be plenty of hot and cold drinks available in the studio, along with a piece of cake offered mid-morning. Please contact me if you have any dietary requirements. We’ll set aside an hour for lunch. You’re welcome to bring your own packed lunch or we can venture into Norwich to one of the many places to eat. As the groups are small, we can be flexible on the day.

We have a very laid-back, elderly Labrador cross, who will be in another room during workshops. However, please contact me if you are particularly fearful of dogs, and we can make alternative arrangements for the duration of your visit.

Yes. I will send travel directions and give you the opportunity to discuss some of your design preferences around two weeks before your design day.

Yes. Gift vouchers can be purchased for the price of a design day or a flexible amount for the ‘Make Your Day’ option. Please contact me for details. Vouchers have space to write your own personal message and come with an envelope. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions.
